It is so great to be in America, we are so blessed! I just returned to America from India. Our time there was extremely blessed and profitable for the kingdom of God.

We landed in Madras, went through customs and the adventure began. There is much unrest there. The devil hates it when you enforce the victory Jesus bought at the cross and, disguised as a guitar player, I and the team invaded India with the cross before us. One evangelist was denied entry into the country and sent back by return flight. The government has passed a law saying that there should be no conversions but we had many converted, changed, and saved. There were little boys with bodies so thin from malnutrition, tiny girls with bodies so emaciated you would think a fourteen year old was seven or eight, beautiful people with desperate hope reaching out to us, and the great gift of life.

As we entered the school, there was a great atmosphere of anticipation. Dark eyes peered around corners, brown faces peeked through the paneless windows. As we plugged in the electric guitars, sparks flew as bare wires were unceremoniously jammed into open sockets, suddently causing the music to come alive!!! They had never heard these sounds before. The electric notes tore through the dust filled air and alit like giant eagles on the young lives of the hearers. The delight in their eyes grew as the gospel was translated into their hearts.

There were over nine hundred students in the school. We then went to an orphanage. The people that we co-labored with have five orphanages. We ministered to sixty children. I know that I went to minister to thousands and we did that. But thousands are no more important than the individuals that make up a crowd. God saw the tears and the hunger of one small child and, moved by compassion, Jesus healed them all...and he is still healing them all.

We then went to a village called Tirupati. They call it a village but there are over two hundred thousand people who live there. We would call that a city, but in India it is considered a village. We had rented a building for the Pastor's seminar and the youth rally but the people who owned the building cancelled at the last minute. They were afraid their building would be burned because we were doing a christian meeting. The Bible says that there would be people who will kill christians and are so deceived that they think they are serving God doing so. It is our job to blow away the devil's deceptions.

The Lutherans let us use their building for the pastor's conference and the youth rally. This was a miracle in itself. In the evenings, we held the concert crusades outside. We reached over twenty thousand people and thousands were saved and healed. I had a wonderful team, twelve strong, as we prayed and laid hands on literally thousands. It was not a healing line, but a healing mob, as on and on they came. The team consisted of Pastor Bill Haake from York, Pennsylvania and his worship team of musicians and helps people; Rob Whitehurst my bass player from Tampa, Florida; Dewey Lewis, a real estate agent from Woodland Park, Colorado and one of my board of directors.

Everyone became hands for God; everyone prayed; everyone preached. The need is so great. The harvest is so huge. Pray for laborers of the harvest. It is good to be home and it is good to be in America but I'll never be the same. I must go again and again!

Tomorrow I leave for Florida. We will be there for two weeks ministering during bike week, and then to the schools in Nebraska, and then to the schools in Ohio. The harvest is great there too.

I covet your prayers and offerings. I believe God will always bring a return for your investment. When I first started winning the lost, it cost less than a pack of cigarettes to reach a lost soul. The cost of cigarettes has gone up, but we can still reach a wounded heart for about fifty cents apiece. It is a wonderful investment.

Keep praying, it is working. The devil is still a liar and Jesus is still Lord. In the book of Ephesians, it says that God will do above and beyond all we can think; all we can pray and beyond all our dreams. Dream big for we have a big God. I pray you and yours are in health and prospering.

Your servant in Christ,

Mike Deasy
