My dear friends

I pray this letter finds you in health and prospering in all God has called you to do. The bible says that you will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion. I looked it up in the Greek and found that every way means every way. You will be made rich in peace so that on every occasion you can give it away. You will be made rich in joy so that on every occasion you can be generous with your joy and give it away. You will be made rich in the area of money. This is what the context of the scripture I just applied joy and peace to means because the bible says every way but the actual context is rich in money so that you can be generous on every occasion. I stand with you on this scripture and you can stand with me.

Kathie and I just got back from our East Coast tour where we reached many in the churches and in the schools . It is wonderful to minister in the churches and be with God's people to encourage and help heal and build up the body of Christ. In New Jersey, we went to Red Bank High school where we did a different kind of assembly. This was disguised as a music workshop. Pretty cool, huh? The sound of the guitar rolled down the halls. There is no way of confining the sound to an auditorium. It just travels down the halls and into the classrooms. If it were not for God's favor and grace, I'm sure someone would have griped but just the opposite occurred.

Teachers came poking their heads into the room to see what was going on and asked if they could bring their classes in. "Sure," I said. "Bring 'em on" and they did. Soon the room was packed with curious, interested teens fascinated by the wild guitar sounds bouncing off the walls. I invited some of their musicians to join me for a song and they went wild. I talked about their dreams and the things that make dreams happen and the things that make dreams turn into nightmares. Their eyes and hearts were locked to mine and when I told them how drugs had destroyed my dreams they saddened with me. And when I told them how Jesus gave me back my dreams and my life they cheered. The school nurse went and pulled her son out of class to come and talk to me. Many are still e-mailing me. God is good all the time and he has made me rich in favor and grace so that these beautiful young people will see Jesus in me. That they will meet Him in my song so that they can experience Him in my guitar sounds and they will see Him in my heart.

Keep praying. It works. Also, whatever you can do financially to help me go to these schools is a blessing and by your generosity, you go with me in spirit and in truth.

Here is our prayer:

Father, in Jesus name I come to you. Your word says in the book of Ephesians that I may approach you with freedom and without fear and so heavenly father I come to you and ask that by your spirit, you would fill me to overflowing. That your joy would overflow to all in my world; that your peace would fill me; that your word would be truly fulfilled in me; that I am made rich in every way so that I can be generous on every occasion. Your word says in the book of Ephesians that you desire to do above and beyond all I dare ask or dream or pray and so I receive and I believe in the name above all names, Jesus.
