2 out of 3 Americans drink alcohol. One in eight smokes pot prior to his 16th birthday.

Drinking and driving in the U.S. is the primary cause among teens aged 15-19.

6 out of 10 high school seniors have experimented with illegal drugs.

Up to 90% of crimes committed by youth are drug or alcohol related.

It is estimated that 5,000 people per day try cocaine for the first time.
HOW MANY WILL BE FROM YOUR SCHOOL?

While there are many programs for drug prevention, the statistics have risen to alarming heights. This clearly states the need for new and creative ways to communicate with our young.

WHO CAN REACH THE TEEN

In most drug education programs school officials, policemen, students and parents are usually invited to speak. But, who do the KIDS listen and respond to? Whose name is on their tee shirts? On their lips? THE MUSICIAN. It's the Musician that dominates their conversation, influences thinking and in some cases controls their actions.

YES TO LIFE

The "Yes to Life" program features popular rock tunes from the Fifties and Sixties, combined with an anti-drug message that includes thought-provoking question-and-answer sessions and conventional teachings.

WHAT OTHERS SAY

"Through the media of music, you were able to maintain the students' attention and stress the importance of saying "YES TO LIFE" and "NO TO DRUGS." The School City of East Chicago was very fortunate to have been a recipient of your timely message and great talent."

---Director of School Health Services, School City of East Chicago, Indiana.

"I think that through your music you reach out and touch the youth in a way few others can do. Because of that, your "Yes to Life" message had a better chance to be heard! I'd like to thank you for presenting your program in a format entirely acceptable to the public school system."
